Commissioner For Information & Strategy
Hon James Iliya was born at kwafara Kpasham in Demsa Local Government area of Adamawa State in the year 1978. He attended Ngbeskedewe Primary School and proceeded to Pare Government Secondary School Numan where he obtained the SSCE in 1997.
James Iliya proceded to Federal Polytecnic Mubi where he acquired a National Diploma in Accountancy and Later obtained a Higher National Diploma from the same Institution in 2006. He was at Federal University Wukari where he acquired his B. Sc. Economics.

James did his NYSC in Ogun State in the year 2008. Immediately after service, he was employed by AFCOT Nigeria at Gwaza. He proved his capabilities and rose to the rank of Store Keeper and Later Assistant Manager. By 2011, james Iliya took up appointment with the Adamawa State Government as a Teacher with the Post Primary Schools Management Board.
He Joined the Fresh Air Team in 2019 as the Commissioner for Enterpreneurship Development and the Commissioner for Information and Strategy following the recent cabinet reshufflement by His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
