Governor Fintiri Launches Humanitarian Support Program at Specialist Hospital Yola

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, inaugurated the humanitarian support program of the Special Assistant Forum at the Specialist Hospital in Yola on Saturday. This initiative, part of the commemoration of Governor Fintiri’s five years in office, provided cash gifts to 100 patients.

Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Auwal D. Tukur, Governor Fintiri praised the forum for their charitable efforts. He encouraged other stakeholders and well-meaning individuals to follow the example set by his special assistants.

In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the Forum, Mr. Ijabani Ijahu, emphasized the necessity of the humanitarian activity given the current economic challenges faced by many in the country. He announced that the program, aimed at assisting the less privileged, would be conducted quarterly.

Mr. Ijahu expressed gratitude to the forum members and the organizing committee for their contributions to help the sick and needy, offering prayers for divine blessings on their efforts.

The Medical Director of Specialist Hospital, Yola, represented by the Director of Nurses, Mr. Grace Gadzama, accompanied the SSG and forum members on a tour of the hospital wards.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of an award of excellence to the Wife of the Governor, Her Excellency, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri, recognizing her contributions and support.
